The installation, monitoring and maintenance of GPS real-time tracking system on toxic chemical substances transportation vehicles.

Absrtact
The aim of this project is to monitor toxic chemical substances from source to destination with real-time tracking systems Global Positioning System (GPS) on transport vehicles. The project scope was divided into 5 categories: system update, examination, operation and daily management, abnormal activities monitoring and validation processes. The system update was carried out this year. In order to improve system efficiency, the monitoring process was transfer to the local authorities to streamline operation process and minimize complexity. At present, there are approximately 1,800 vehicles with 305 transportation companies equipped with GPS from 12 GPS providers. The project team continued monitoring processes and submitted cases of suspicious vehicles on a daily basis in this year. In order to shown the information that EPA can get hold. Our team manages the flows of toxic chemical substances through the GPS. It not only provided cross comparison but also imported the new Comparison Method. Our team also held on 3 operating Instruction meeting and 2 on-site inspections.
